So you want me to be your affiliate
I’m picky.
I’m picky about my jewelry materials, I’m picky about my oat milk, I’m picky about my values.
This extends to the affiliate codes that I offer. I only use them for brands and services that I can get behind 100% and that I think are useful to my followers. More importantly, it has to be something that I actually use so that I can recommend a product or a service with confidence.
I consider my partnerships as an affiliate to be a win-win – my followers get helpful tools and tips, sometimes they get a discount, and I get a cut of each sale. Everybody is happy.
So check out my list of all of my affiliate links. If you use them to make a purchase, I get a percentage and you get a valuable service.
Further along in this post, I also offer guidelines for me to become your affiliate if you are interested. In order to create the most mutually beneficial affiliate partnership possible, I think it’s important for us to be on the same page.
I’ll update this list whenever I have new codes to report.
My current list of affiliate links
-
I learn so much from Christina Miller about responsible and sustainable practices in the jewelry industry. Her course Foundations for Sustainable Jewelry Practices has taught me so much. If you are looking to educate yourself about better jewelry practices, this course is the perfect place to start. Use this link and take 10% off! (discount already applied at checkout).
-
Gusto really is the best software for payroll and makes it so easy to onboard new employees. It is so easy to use I can’t believe no other SaaS comes close! Use my code and we both get a referral bonus.
-
Meagan Williamson’s courses on leveraging Pinterest to boost web traffic and sales is not only easy to follow, it’s easy to implement! I have already seen Pinterest out pace Instagram when it comes to traffic to my website. Pinterest is a powerful visual search engine, and any jewelry designer would benefit from beefing up their Pinterest presence. Use Meagan’s Pinterest Marketing Toolkit and get started!
-
Emilie Shapiro’s wax carving courses are so well made and comprehensive – she teaches wax skills that I have only explored a little. Courses like using natural objects in wax, or creative stone settings in wax are great for beginners or even for people looking for new creative projects.
-
I really do think that Benchworks can help you get your inventory under control. Something that is vital to beefing up your cash flow.
-
Poshmark is by far my favorite place to buy and sell used clothes – one of the great ways to reduce your carbon footprint! Take $10 off of your first order with my link!
-
An even more robust inventory system is Craftybase. This system tracks materials down to the jump ring. Craftybase is one of the more comprehensive inventory systems that I have seen and used.
-
I think Bookshop.org is a far better place to buy your books than that other behemoth that shan’t be named. It supports small bookstores and you get books! It is a win-win.
-
I encourage entrepreneurs to set aside money for the future! Set aside money and invest in little bits at a time with Stash Capital and get at least $20 to start! Creating a soft landing for yourself financially can help ease your mind as an entrepreneur.
If you are interested in working with me as your affiliate, I’m open to hearing from you, but to save us all a little time, here is a short list of affiliate partnerships that I am not interested in:
-
Jewelry brands.
-
Fast fashion.
-
A m a z o n – nope.
-
Apps in general (though if you have one specific to the jewelry industry or very very specific to small and micro business operations, I’ll hear you out).
-
Crypto.
For anyone interested in partnering with me as an affiliate I need to be able to:
-
Be sure that your product or service aligns with my values – If you have good customer service, are supportive of small businesses, are a B Corp, or otherwise have responsible corporate practices, then I will certainly hear you out.
-
Be sure that I like and can use your product or service. That means I’ll need access to it to review it privately first. A review doesn’t guarantee that I will promote your product or service.
Affiliate partnerships I am interested in:
-
Courses and workshops that align with my values and that are useful to my followers. Courses on topics like ethics and sustainability, managing your social media, or courses on jewelry and metalsmithing techniques that I don’t already offer.
-
Tools that might interest my audience – digital tools and also physical tools for metalsmiths.
-
Authors of good books who sell on Bookshop.org can absolutely reach out to me.
If you have a physical product, use the contact form to reach out to me for an affiliate request. Put “Be Our Affiliate” in the subject. Please don’t send me physical products without contacting me first, and if you subscribe me to your list without my permission, then you’ll likely never hear from me. And if you have to ask why, read this blog post.
If you find value in my blog, newsletters and Tool Talk videos, consider supporting this work with a tip.
