Tips for Tips

My blog and newsletter are ad-free and I’d like to keep it that way. They are also written by me, a person and not by an LLM. Support my work with a tip!

Tips allow me to keep blogging and newslettering about jewelry skills, business skills and more, hopefully helping you work a little smarter and with a little bit more ease, and with a lot more success. I don’t love gatekeeping, so I make the majority of my advice public.

If you find value in what I do, if you receive sound advice and gain actionable skills from what I do, consider adding a tip to the tip jar to help me keep it going and to keep it free for as many people as I can.

FAQ

Why a tip jar?

For some of you on my list, my consulting and classes aren’t exactly what you need yet, but you still want to learn about business and jewelry-making.

For some of you, my consulting and classes are out of your budget range (for now:) I write the newsletters because I don’t believe that money should be the only barrier to you being able to learn essential business and jewelry skills.

That said, it takes work to make these newsletters happen and I believe in valuing work. I want to walk the walk by valuing my own time and labor, while also keeping this information as free-flowing as possible. Your tips help keep this going for anyone who wants to access it.

What if I only have $5?

Great! That’s about right for a useful and informative service. I mean, The NY Times is $5 a week, The Wall Street Journal is $39 a month.

If you are truly out of money and only have $5 to your name, I do not want you contributing. Please focus on sustaining yourself.

Does tipping add me to your email list?

Nope! Signing up for my newsletter is optional and consensual – if you want to be added, go ahead and add yourself here. If not, I appreciate your tip and I wish you well!
